Wang Ying-ting 王盈婷 is language teacher, learner, and PhD candidate.

Wang Ying-ting studied Foreign Languages & Literature at university. Afterwards, she went to Taipei to pursue her Master’s degree, Teaching Chinese as a Second language at National Taiwan Normal University. During the training in the Master’s degree program, she taught Mandarin in Taiwan, the United States, and Germany. She's been teaching Mandarin at Leiden University in the Netherlands.

In September 2020, she finally started her PhD research project. She is interested in the learning processes of learners of Chinese as a Foreign language (CFL), particularly in their development of self-efficacy beliefs in speaking.

王盈婷大學讀的是外文系。取得學士學位後，北上台灣師範大學攻讀華語教學碩士。攻讀碩士期間，曾在台灣、美國和德國教過中文。自2011年起在荷蘭萊頓大學漢學系教授現代漢語。

2020年9月起，她終於開始著手進行博士研究計劃。 她的研究興趣和中文學習者的學習過程有關，尤其是自我效能信念在口語方面的發展。
